Supervisory Training Program

MDS conducts Supervisory Training Program for developing staff members into new Supervisors of the organization or sharpening the skills of existing Supervisors.

Usually it takes hard work for long number of years for a staff member to get promoted to the supervisory cadre. The transition is also challenging since this it assumes a leadership position and the accountability shifts from self to the team. The program is targeted for manufacturing and other industry sectors.

The program aims to train people passing through critical career transition such as from non-supervisory position to a supervisory position and equips them with general supervisory principles that can be applied to any setting where one is overseeing or directing the activities of others.

Who Should Attend

  • Supervisors promoted from the existing staff members based on good work, seniority, crossing an exam, etc.
  • New supervisors younger in age but more qualified, joining the company to lead the existing team of staff members
  • New supervisors in manufacturing and other industries across all functions of the organization

This is deemed to be a readiness workshop for the Supervisory staff, and offers participants a wholesome learning experience for preparing them for their enhanced role and performing their role better. It is expected that the hallmarks of an effective supervisor will become the traits once the participants attend the workshop.

Generally it is found that supervisors spend considerable no. of years in the company as staff members and have acquired the domain skills well. After going through this program, the new Supervisors will be able to combine both hard skills and the freshly acquired people skills to meet new challenges.
